Organised under the auspices of the Scientific and Technical Tribology Group (GST 12) of the French Mechanics Association (AFM), the JIFT will bring together the French-speaking scientific and industrial community specialising in tribology. For its 37th edition, the conference will be held from 2 to 4 June 2026 at the University of Strasbourg, in the historic building of the Faculty of Physics and Engineering.
With the theme of "fundamental mechanisms in tribology", JIFT 2026 will offer a rich and stimulating programme: plenary lectures, oral and poster sessions, industrial presentations, networking opportunities and discussions.
